Don’t Look Back in Dots

Don’t Look Back in Dots – A Braille Pop Eyecon

This artwork proves that music, art, and accessibility can share the same stage.

“Don’t Look Back in Dots” takes inspiration from one of the most iconic bands of the Britpop era—Oasis—and transforms them into a tactile masterpiece.

What makes it special? It’s not just a portrait. Every dot tells a story. Hidden within this artwork is a Braille medley of lyrics from three legendary anthems:

Don’t Look Back in Anger
Wonderwall
Roll With It

By fusing Braille with bold colour and shape, this piece challenges how we experience visual culture. It celebrates the idea of “Eyecons”—a playful twist on the word icons—where vision and touch collide, creating a shared language for sighted and blind audiences alike.

Music connects us all. Now, so does art.
